• The remote sensing derived climate and environmental parameters will be used to investigate terrestrial ecosystem impacts in response to hydro-climate variability, environmental and climate constraints.
• The candidate will be expected to use in-site, remote sensing data records, and ecosystem modelling, and develop their own research within the overall project framework.

• The duties for the position will include digital image processing and integration of multi-sensor and multi-scale satellite remote sensing (e.g., MODIS, SMAP, and Landsat) and other geospatial data for extracting vegetation index, vegetation phenology metrics, gross primary productivity, evapotranspiration, SIF, soil moisture, surface temperature, and freeze/thaw metrics; fieldworks for measuring plant phenology, soil moisture, soil temperature, and vegetation biophysical parameters; writing scientific papers and publishing in peer-reviewed scientific journals; giving presentations on research findings.

Requirements
