Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Monitor and analyze local and international media (conventional, unconventional) related to economic, social, and business / industry development to ensure up-to-date intelligence and insights on market drivers and performance

Engage with the “Project Manager” of each project during project design, development and execution phases to provide timely needed data, insights and analysis in coherence with department standards.

Draft contextual information materials, such as questionnaire, datasheets, background notes, economic and political profiles of relevance to projects in hand; Manage data and insights to ensure its accessibility by other team members (when/if needed) and utility.

Produce accurate and timely analysis, reports, video scripts, infographic content, papers, newsletters, and other types of deliverables that support the on-going projects handled by the department

Attend meetings with management as required, but not limited to, subject specific projects with clients

Research and gather a wide range of data, insights for Multiply Research & Consultancy website, social media platforms, and company profile.

Develop and edit materials, including writing short articles, blog’s content and video clips to be published on the company website, Social media as well as printed materials including profile

Develop tenders, proposals for different tenders and research related projects and pitches covering economic / social analysis, business consultancies, data mining, and other possible deliverables

Participate in the development and implementation in conjunction with management, growth strategy of Multiply Research & Consultancy and provide actionable business intelligence when needed.

Ensure all research standards and best practices are applied throughout the course of all research projects, as per procedures and practices implemented in the department

Participate actively in the development and execution of Multiply Research & Consultancy business development strategy and plan

Requirements

Education/ Qualification:
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration Preferably Economics, Social Sciences
• Master degree in Economics, BA, International Trade, etc. is an asset

Work Experience
• 4 - 6 years of working experience with a min of 4 years of directly related experience
• High exposure to quantitative and qualitative research studies, interfacing with clients to proactively deliver on agreed KPIs

Knowledge
• Good knowledge of market research techniques, approaches and methodologies
• Evolving knowledge of UAE/ region market dynamics and key industries drivers
• Good understanding of Economic metrics and fundamentals
• Good understanding of geo-economic drivers and analysis
• Good command in speaking, reading and writing of English and Arabic languages
• Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office (especially Access & Excel), PASW (SPSS) statistical software, social media platforms, and general Internet and electronic communications.
