Job description

• Interact with guests on a daily basis and assist them to book rooms and handle guests' requests and preferences.
• Provide information about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
• Know the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout. Keep up-to-date knowledge on the selling status, rates, and benefits of all package plans. Know the credit policy of the hotel and how to code each reservation.
• Monitor and ensure that all reservations with corresponding travel agent commissions are thoroughly checked to avoid unaccounted commission invoices.
• Process new reservations, including collecting payment information such as credit card numbers or other forms of payment.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a hotel reservations agent or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Opera and Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
