Job description
We are seeking a Reservation Agent to join our team at Novotel & Ibis Gate Hotels Abu Dhabi. The candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a professional experience from the initial reservation process.
- Deliver professional and efficient customer service to all guests
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and online reservation requests with utmost professionalism
- Optimize revenue through strategic recommendation of additional services and amenities
- Provide comprehensive information about our property, facilities, and accommodate special requests
- Ensure accurate processing of reservations, including correct recording of all guest details and preferences
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and address any concerns
- Maintain current knowledge of promotions, rates, and availability to provide precise information
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of the property's policies, procedures, and services
- Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
- Contribute to the achievement of team objectives and uphold high standards of service
Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in the same field in the hospitality industry
- Fluency in Arabic; additional languages are a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills with a guest-focused personality
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in reservation systems and basic computer applications
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Additional information
- Experience is an asset
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in Arabic; additional languages are a plus
