Job description / Role
• Handles incoming reservations received through telephone, fax, email or internet and feeds these data into the computer, correspondingly and process confirmation letter.
• Processes amendments and cancellations and enters these in the computer.
• Replies to inquiries and reservations through facsimile and e-mail as received
• Verify all reservation information with caller to ensure accuracy.
Requirements
• English and Arabic is required
• Previous reservations experience required
• Must possess outstanding , professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills
• Must be able to engage and build rapport with guest
• Must be able to type 25 words per minute
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Must be able to handle multitude of tasks in an intense, ever changing environment while remaining calm, collective and accurate
• Must be flexible in terms of working hours (Shift Timing)
• A Hospitality diploma is an asset
