Reservations Supervisor

The incumbent of this position is responsible for the efficient functioning of the Reservations department.

An impressive 100,000 square meters, the Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai comprises 347 luxuriously appointed rooms, of which 36 are exquisitely spacious suites. Surrounded by pristinely landscaped tropical gardens are eight highly appointed royal villas with stunning views of the Palm Lagoon. The hotel's wide variety of international restaurants, boutique mall and cinema provide ample dining and entertainment attractions. With its opening in 2018, the hotel's classical design will complement the Kempinski Residences and Hotel Apartments Palm Jumeirah, which has been developed in the same architectural style and is located on the adjacent plot.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Reservation standards are implemented and complied to.
- All relevant data is entered in the systems in a timely and accurate manner.
- Data is reviewed and analyzed on an ongoing basis.
- All inventory (transient, group, wholesale allotments and other) and pricing strategy in all distribution channels including branded web, 3rd party sites and the GDS are effectively managed.
- All distribution channels are returning appropriate availability and pricing for the following 365 days.
- New Revenue Management tools are being used, including IDeaS where applicable, Channel Manager, Opera, and any new/similar tools or reports.

Requirements

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum of high school, Baccalaureate (Abitur), A-level exam
- Professional Certification (Bachelor, University Degree, Hotel School Diploma)
- Very good Opera central systems knowledge
- Knowledge of either Fidelio V6 or Opera PMS is imperative
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in reservations, ideally in a supervisory role
- A proven track record of increasing revenue streams or strengthening the performance of a property
- Experience with reporting and market performance reports
