Job description / Role
- Establish and maintain project engineering records
- Initiate and distribute project documents
- Prepare clear, complete and accurate working plans
- Monitor and expedite weekly reports for accuracy. Provide timely data input and/or correction information to insure accurate and beneficial reporting
- Perform quantity take?offs and prepare project estimates
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with the team and clients
- Develop and perform quality control
- Managing the planning and resource allocation for the project
- Liaison with client for requirements.
- Selection of materials and finishes.
- Contractor claim analysis, variations, tender documentation.
- Handling site coordination meetings & quality assurance of the works carried at site.
- Coordination between various suppliers & contractors.
- Ensuring execution of works standards & specifications with an eye on good quality & detailing.
- Coordinate with Authorities to expedite Permits, Approvals and Connections.
- Contract close-out, record of Warranties, Test reports, Manuals & Drawings.
Requirements
- BSc. Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10 years experience in Consultant firm
Specialist knowledge:
- Excellent organization and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of business English, spelling and writing, present day office methods, procedures, and equipment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of construction management information systems/databases; proficient in Primavera P6 Contract Management Software.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures
