JOB OVERVIEW:
• Acts as Engineers Representative.
• Coordinates with the Department and Contractor.
• Liaises with other Authorities.
• Advises on contractual and construction matters.
• Liaises with Department and approve Contractors submissions.
• Coordinates forward planning.
• Implements the terms and conditions of Contract.
• Supervises, reviews, monitors and reports on progress.
• Liaises with all parties for site safety.
• Convenes and chair regular site meetings.
• Issues additional drawings etc. as required.
• Provides technical leadership to his team.
• Coordinates and monitors activities of his team.
• Ensures prompt exchange of correspondence and approvals.
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of records according to ISO 9001.
• Maintains awareness of contracts financial status.
• Gives final approval to Works and arrange Handover.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 15 years of construction supervision experience.
• 5 years of experience working on construction supervision projects in Dubai.
• Significant experience in supervision of roads, deep services, and other infrastructure projects.
• Proficient with applicable engineering/construction conditions of contracts.
