Employment: Full Time

Project Overview:
Parsons have been awarded Consultancy Services for construction supervision of Land Development Project.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Managed construction supervision team.
• Coordinate with Client and Contractor.
• Be familiar with authority requirements and Liaise with local Authorities.
• Assist QS team on contractual and construction matters.
• Coordinate forward planning.
• Generally supervise, review, monitor and report on progress.
• Convene and chair regular site meetings.
• Coordinate and monitor activities of his team.
• Ensure prompt exchange of correspondence and approvals.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
• Issuing site instructions after due consultation with the Client.
• Give final approval to Works and arrange Handover.
• Supervise Contractor’s works to achieve construction in accordance with the Contract Documents.
• Review Contractor’s Submissions.
• Provide all necessary on-site direction.
• Supervise site inspection staff.
• Assist in reviewing the process of Variations and Claims
• Check the measurement of completed works.
• Observe site safety practices.
• Advise on contractor’s resource allocation.
• Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘as-built’ drawings.
• Must comply with safety, health and risk management requirements.
• Has proven history of managing construction work for mega projects.

Requirements

• Civil / Architectural Engineering Degree
• 10 years’ experience in infrastructure / land development work
• UAE experience is a must
• Experience in managing engineering contracts contractual matters, procedure, and policies.
• Excellent command of English and Arabic (Communication and writing skills)
• Valid UAE Driving License.
