Resourcer - Unpaid Internship (3 Months)

Job description / Role

This is a great chance for STUDENTS to figure out if a career in recruitment is what you seek.

You don't need to report to work! Yeah, you read it right, work from home in your pj's making calls to candidates, registering them, re-formatting CV’s and more (all the stuff that goes on behind the scenes at a recruitment agency)

This is an unpaid program but you DO get a brilliant chance to dabble in recruitment and see if this is your calling in life (or you can always go back to playing PS )

It take a special kind of person to work in this role – you need to be a self-starter, very little spoon-feeding by your senior. You need to have an eye for good CV’s, ask all the right questions, read a lot online to learn about who’s hiring, basically be the Wikipedia of companies hiring in Dubai and share that knowledge with your Consultant.

You need to have tons of energy, have great communication skills and of course a good sense of humor won't hurt either.

Responsibilities
• Source for CV's online using job boards, linked in etc
• Post witty ads online and sift through piles and piles of CV's received
• Once CV's are collected, then re-format those and save it on shared drive
• Conduct reference checks
• Other ad-hoc administrative tasks

As stated earlier, this is an unpaid program but you do get a company phone and a guaranteed written reference to your future employer of how awesome you are!

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Good at MS Office tools (Microsoft Word)
• MUST be on a Student/Guardian’s visa
• MUST have an awesome personality and a can-do attitude
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Willing to work from home, with minimum supervision
