Job description / Role
A Restaurant Operations Manager with independent hospitality group is responsible for the first new street food concept pre-opening and to outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you would be responsible for directing and administering sales of restaurants, specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Manage all operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
• Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
• Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest concerns in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and awareness standards
• Initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote beverage sales and services and to maximize overall revenue
• Recruit, interview and train team members
• Working with the chef on creating a successful and profitable menu
• Working with the accounting department on the Restaurant P&L
• Recruiting and managing restaurant staff
• Dealing with suppliers
• Dealing with Dubai Municipality and other departments
• Reporting to the company owners
