Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Sales & operations Management
- Understand store sales budget and performance against KPIs and contribute to achieving store sales targets
- Support initiatives to improve product performance and return on floor space
- Follow the directions of store manager/counter manager on managing controllable expenses and cash handling
- Escalate any issues within store/counter to store manager (e.g maintenance, cleaning etc)
- Identify improvements and/or modifications to processes and systems and discuss with store/counter manager
- Ensure opening and closing responsibilities are completed according to the set SOPs
- Be conscious of stock loss, following directions on preventing shrinkage ad escalating any issues
- Assist with store stock takes as required

Customer experience & product management
- Ensure Aesop approach to customer service and consultations is upheld and demonstrated at all times
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner, escalating any issues to the store manager
- Stand for extended periods of time and lift of up to 15kg
- Seek out feedback on performance
- Be aware of the marketing and promotional initiatives and support shopping events
- Assist store manager in maintaining relationships within the local community and participate in events
- Adhere to the standards of store and product presentation
- Understand and meet Aesop’s dress and grooming standards

Self-leadership & development
- Proactively complete induction
- Prepare for and participate in bi-annual performance conversations
- Seek out feedback on performance
- Actively participate in trainings and implement learnings on shop floor
- Contribute to a positive ad harmonious work environment by openly and effectively communicating with other colleagues
- Participate in social events as required

Communication & Administration
- Maintain effective, regular and Aesop appropriate communication with colleagues
- Attend and participate in meetings as required
- Read and action communication in a timely manner
- Complete all delegated administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintain proficient computer skills and systems knowledge

Requirements

- Preferably high school graduate
- Preferably skincare qualification
- Preferably 1+ years in luxury retail or skincare store/counter experience

Job-Specific Skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Arabic and English language proficiency
- Passion for skincare and knowledge of beauty brands
