Our growing Abu Dhabi office is currently seeking a mid-level Interior Designer with experience of retail projects. Successful candidates will be self-starters with a passion for the design business with the enthusiasm and drive to embed themselves within the creative studio structure.

Responsibilities:
- An integral part of the design team, works towards a cohesive and rational design solution which conforms to the project brief and is technically, legally and financially responsible.
- Contributes to the team effort method of producing design projects.
- Solves complex design problems through schematic design and design development.
- Participates in the preparation of graphic materials for presentation to client.
- Researches and recommends appropriate systems, materials and finishes.
- Present design schemes and documents to the client with the Design Manager.
- Contributes to the design development package for production.
- Works with Technical coordinator and technical team to ensure design intent is accurately interpreted in documents.
- Perform interior design assignments that include conceptual design, schematic design, design development & construction documents.
- Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents.
- Participates in selection of FF&E color palettes & material presentations, and generate specifications.
- Participate in exciting design and research projects and bring a new perspective to what we do for our clients.
- Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.

Requirements

- Must have completed two years of an accredited Architecture or Interior Design program or one year of a Masters degree program in Architecture or Interior Design
- AutoCad required, Revit experience preferred
- Hand sketching ability
- Strong 3-D computer rendering skills (Sketchup, 3-D Max, VRay)
- Capable skills with presentation software such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Excellent communication skills
