Job description / Role
• Working 5 days a week, must be able to work Friday and Saturday. Hours 9 - 6pm.
• Customer Service - answer enquiries, follow lead sales, handle complaints unless escalating to manager
• Take pre-orders and communicate with Buyer what stock your clients are waiting on.
• Retail Strategies - bring fresh new ideas to implement in the shop including more efficient operations
• Client Relationship - establish and build new clients, must be able to use whatsapp and email to build relationships.
• Visual Merchandise - Look after store display, change layout, come up with new display ideas, rotate stock regularly / restock
• Schedule and coordinate home deliveries, handle online store sales.
• Prepare Invoices, Quotations, Delivery Notes, Purchase Orders - we can train you here.
• Shop Admin - stationary, price tags, supplies, shelves must be organized.
• Stock - assist the team with inventory, do regular checks and update back end system inventory.
• Meet with the team once a week to discuss new clients, sales feedback, retail ideas - keep note of what clients are looking for.
• Organize and run Shop Sales from beginning to end with the assistance of Buyer
• Run our monthly workshops bookings and enquiries.
• Discuss custom upholstery and furniture with shop clients- we can train you here
• Design; give design advice to clients, offer solutions for their space and alternatives to stock that is in the shop - be knowledgeable of stock in the warehouse.
• Represent the brand, have in depth knowledge of our products and where they come from, know all of the services that we offer and be able to redirect enquiries to the team.
• Update client database monthly
• Increase sales revenue / Meet set sales target
Salary:
AED
6,000 to 7,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements
• Required experience in sales and retail, preferably in homeware.
• Excellent customer service experience, chatty and welcoming personality. Positive attitude.
• Must be able to meet sales target.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Excellent knowledge of MAC.
• Ambitious candidate who wants to grow in the company.
• Preferably Family Visa.
• Comfortable Managing Store Operations.
• Able to work independently.
• Hard Working, able to multi task and work in fast pace environment.
About the Company
Tribe is a furniture shop that sells sustainable, hand-made, fair trade home decor accessories sourced from all over the world. We have one retail space in The Courtyard, Al Quoz and a warehouse / showroom also in Al Quoz. The company was founded 2 years ago and we are a team of 7 employees.
We offer interior design services which include full fit outs for residential and commercial projects, as well as styling services which can be for commercial photoshoots, to private homes to social media collaborations. We rent our furniture for events and photoshoots. We also have an in-house carpenter and make custom furniture and upholstery for commercial and residential clients. We organise community workshops twice a month during the year.
