Retail Support Manager - Ferrari World Abu Dhabi

The Retail support manager will ensure a smooth and efficient operation in Retail Department in relation to the core process: thus directly impacting on the delivery of the experience. He/She will ensures that Retail Outlets, Sales carts and photo booth always meet the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and visual display.

The Retail support manager will manage the team of direct reports in such a manner that the departments’ performance always reaches or exceeds our customers’ expectations along with administrative duties included in the job.

- Manage the daily outlet operations, by overseeing the stores, photo and midway games operation etc.
- Monitoring stock levels and daily sales.
- Identifies and pursues opportunities to improve service. Focuses on activities and quality standards that ensure the satisfaction of both internal and external guests.
- Investigate cash variances.
- Handle web/call enquiries / complains. Help guests by providing information: answering questions, obtaining retail requested; assist in completing the payment transaction; preparing the retail for delivery.
- Prepare guest relation reports by analyzing, identifying, and investigating guest complaints and service suggestions.
- Review and manage and effectively address team performance.
- Foster a harmonious atmosphere amongst Colleagues in their area and bring team members together through team activities.
- Develop sales initiatives and strategies.
- Assist in yearly inventory and outside revenue generating events.
- Openly communicate appropriate and useful information through various channels to include department meetings and briefings.
- Monitor visual retail standards.
- Prepares report by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information of slow and fast moving items.
- Reviewing financial performance and ensuring departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPI) goals are met.
- Maximize profits by controlling labor costs and expenses.
- Ensuring that the departmental KPI goal for the Guest Satisfaction Index (GSI) and Mystery shopper scores are met consistently.
- Achieving the departmental per cap.
- Introducing new interactive elements as well as sales and product initiatives to boost revenue.
- Focus on activities and quality standards that ensure guest satisfaction.
- Develop, standardize, assess and review internal processes, policies and procedures in order to constantly improve the departmental performance.
- Assist the Retail Manager and Director with various projects and tasks.
- Interview and recommend candidates for available (internal) positions.
- Conduct colleague's performance appraisals.
- Plan, book and deliver on and off job training as required to ensure best possible service standards as well as Colleague development.
- Approval of schedules and leave requests for the entire department.
- Any other tasks that may be required from time to time to perform other duties to meet the needs of the business.
- Providing reports to senior executives.
- Managing and controlling budgets

Requirements

- Have a Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g. Retail management etc.)
- Have 5 years of retail experience and 2 years of management experience
- Be excellent in spoken and written English and computer skills
- Have excellent management and interpersonal skills
- Have training and performance evaluation skills
- Have advanced time management skills and analytical skills
