Hotel Overview: Nestled amongst the hidden valleys of the majestic Al Hajar Mountains, Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort lies along the coastal region of Dibba, the second largest town in the emirate of Fujairah. Set against a dramatic backdrop of rugged terrain, travelers can expect to discover a destination lauded for its natural beauty, with archeological and heritage sites all within easy accessibility from the resort.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Manage demand, forecasting and inventory as it relates to driving total revenue opportunity for the hotel
• Maximize total revenues through a thorough understanding of all booking channels, managing inventory and rate accordingly
• Strong ability to work in collaboration with all profit centers head of departments to collectively optimize total hotel revenue
• Monitor transient and group booking pace in order to determine pricing and availability controls for all reservation distribution sources
• Monitor key indicators of hotel performance and third party intelligence sources to identify revenue opportunities
• Liaise with Reservations, Front Office, Distribution and Sales to ensure the highest level of guest service is maintained while maximizing profit
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of analytical reports
• Play an active role in the strategic plan, marketing plan and budgeting processes
• Stay current with industry changes and how it may impact demand
• Prepare and present weekly analytical reports
• Follow departmental policies and procedures
• Follow all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Previous customer related experience required
• Previous Property Manager System, CRS and OTAs experience required
• Previous Reservation/Front Office experiences for 2 years is preferred
• IDeaS and HBSi working knowledge preferred
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
• Must be able to type 25 words per minute
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Luxury hotel sales experience, having had varied market mix experience

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
