Job description / Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reward Specialist to join our team in the automotive spare parts trading industry in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing competitive reward programs to attract, motivate, and retain top talent within our organization. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of compensation and benefits practices and will play a key role in developing and executing strategies to ensure that our employees are rewarded and recognized in line with the company's objectives and budgetary constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement effective compensation and benefits programs that align with the organization's overall business strategy.
- Conduct market research and analysis to ensure that our reward offerings remain competitive and attractive within the industry.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to develop and execute total rewards strategies that support the attraction, motivation, and retention of key talent.
- Manage the annual salary review and bonus process, ensuring that it is fair, transparent, and in line with the company's performance management framework.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of local employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with all reward-related matters.
- Lead the design and delivery of employee recognition programs to foster a culture of appreciation and engagement within the organization.
- Provide expert advice and support to management and HR on reward-related matters, including job evaluations, salary benchmarking, and incentive programs.
- Partner with external vendors and consultants to ensure that the company's reward programs are cost-effective and competitive within the market.
Requirements:
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits programs, in collaboration with HR leadership, in alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct regular in-depth market research and benchmarking to stay updated with industry trends and ensure the company’s compensation and benefits packages are competitive to enhance talent acquisition and retention.
- Ensure all reward management practices comply with local legal requirements.
- Collaborate with line to analyze and evaluate job roles for proper classification and grading.
- Oversee the payroll function across all business branches/countries, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, and compliance with local regulatory standards.
- Oversee the annual salary reviews and bonus, recommending budgets and salary movement guidelines.
- Support HR leadership, in developing annual manpower budgets for all branches.
- Utilize HRMS systems proficiently to streamline processes and maintain accurate compensation and benefits data.
- Conduct training to communicate and familiarize employees with the organization's reward programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Compensation and Benefits Specialist or in a similar role in GCC.
- Experience in overseeing payroll operations across multiple countries.
- Experience with job evaluation methodologies.
- Proficiency in HRMS and payroll systems.
Salary:
AED
8,000 to 12,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
