Job description / Role
Seeking an experienced and qualified Risk/Compliance Professional for our Higher Education client in Abu Dhabi. Areas of expertise must include, compliance, risk, regulatory, corporate governance and UAE/Abu Dhabi govt strategy and policy.
Reporting to the GC, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
• Lead risk management strategy
• Identify risks to the business and help the organization to understand risks/risk management
• Develop Risk register including, nature of the risk, reference and owner, mitigation measures
• Ensure compliance with relevant authorities, and offer solutions where applicable
• Communicate regulatory, legislative, and best practice changes to senior managers
• Manage department budgets
• Stakeholder management, internal and external
Requirements
To be shortlisted you will need experience in similar role - preference will be given to those with Higher Education or Government experience. Additionally you must be responsible and diligent, and be educated with a relevant Bachelors Degree.
