Job description / Role
On behalf of our client a leading Dubai based oil and gas operator we are looking to recruit a Rotating Equipment Engineer. Based in Dubai and reporting to the Rotating Equipment Team Lead you will be responsible for working closely with the offshore teams to develop procedures and ensure that the safe and timely installation and troubleshooting of all major Rotating Equipment, prepare and review procedures for the repair and overhaul of mechanical equipment for use by the mechanical maintenance staff and the role will involve frequent visits to offshore platforms, workshops and vendor facilities.
Requirements
.The successful candidate must be a highly skilled specialist with a minimum of 15 years experience at a operator, be degree educated in mechanical engineering, with 10 years field service of mechanical and rotating equipment maintenance, condition monitoring and control system interfaces, OEM trained in the installation and removal of centrifugal barrel type compressors, knowledge of operating and maintaining rotating equipment to include Rolls Royce, Dresser Rand, Solar and GE together with knowledge of power and process equipment
