Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:
Work as a liaison to the senior functional leaders and is charged with accountability for the quality and consistency of the S&OP process across the Management Unit MENA. This position will coordinate monthly data analysis, executive reviews, executable actions and improvement plans.

Accountabilities:

S&OP Process
• Implement and improve Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) activities and process in the MU with global input to include all CUs with the focus on key markets and key brands
• Develop and maintain control over an integrated Sales & Operations Planning process within the MU including a Pre-S&OP meeting within the CUs/key distributors.
• Harmonize and drive efficiency in data gathering to speed the flow of quality information to S&OP decision-makers.
• Facilitate communication and negotiation between Sales, Demand & Supply, Finance, Marketing and other functional areas.
• Serve as primary liaison between the business units and senior leaders while providing consolidated information for executive review. Presenting critical issues, risks and opportunities to drive decision making.
• Develop alternate plan scenarios to close the gaps between the forecast and the business targets.
• Support inventory strategies toward inventory optimization through effective S&OP execution.

Projects
• Lead or participate in various Supply Chain projects in the MU/Region at the direction of senior management.
• Plan, implement and control assigned projects.
• Evaluate the outcomes of assigned projects and define opportunities to build on projects’ success.

Requirements

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, results driven young professional with an entrepreneur mind-set to join Beiersdorf MENA in the position of S&OP Specialist.

• Bachelor from an accredited university with a focus on Business, Commerce or Supply Chain
• 2-3 years experience in a logistics or associated area, ideally within a customer focused or service organization and sound knowledge of statistical forecasting tools

Skills
• Excellent communicator & negotiator, a critical thinker
• Strong organizational skills, project management skills
• Strong experience with financial, manufacturing and business planning processes
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial and business performance data
• English fluency; Arabic is a plus
• High level of competence in change management
• High proficiency in MS Office applications (esp. Excel)
• SAP knowledge is a plus
• Team worker and able to work autonomously
• Good decision-making skills
