Safety Engineer

Job description / Role

o Conduct HSE inspection, audit, TBT, trainings, and support assist client and consultant on HSE audits
o Maintain and update HSE documentation, records, and reports.
o To maintain monthly deliverables and prepare dashboard to identify trends and pattern
o Conduct and preparing safety meeting minutes, incident reports, and audit findings.
o Implementation of basic HSE procedures and ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
o Coordinate with site teams to ensure timely submission of HSE data.
o Coordinate with sub – Contractor’s HSE officers and monitor and control their works.

o Assist project engineers / managers in tracking project progress and documentation (Method of Statement and Risk Assessment).
o Support in project team HSE KPI to maintain high level of HSE standards and implementation.
o Ensure compliance with local HSE legal requirement, client HSE process and procedures.
o To organize HSE event, motivational program and workmen assistance at work
o Act as a liaison between site teams, project management, and client / consultant HSE departments.
o Ensure clear and professional communication across internal and external stakeholders.
o Support in organizing training sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns.

o Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial Safety or Civil or Electrical of Mechanical Engineering Degree), Environmental Science, or a related field.
o Experience: 6 - 9 years in HSE field specially in construction projects, energy, substation, power and water plants
o Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
o Familiarity with core HSE processes and documentation.
o Nebosh certificate is mandatory.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Well organized, with excellent time management abilities.
o Passionate about safety and continuous improvement.
o Willing to travel and work in project environments.
o UAE driving license (optional but preferred).
o Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Must be available to join immediately.

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
