Safety Foreman

Job description / Role

Key Responsibilities

Worker Safety:
- Ensure the safety of all workers under supervision.
- Promote and instill a culture of safety among employees.

Employee Training:
- Train and instruct new, temporary, and transferred employees on safety protocols.
- Provide detailed guidance on accident reporting and prompt seeking of First Aid or medical attention.

Compliance and Rules:
- Fully understand and enforce company safety rules and standards.
- Ensure workers under supervision understand and comply with safety rules.

Equipment Safety:
- Monitor and ensure the proper use of equipment and safety devices by employees.
- Conduct regular inspections of all tools, equipment, and personal tools of workers.

Workplace Conditions:
- Assign tasks only to qualified and capable individuals who can perform them safely.
- Verify that work and equipment are in a safe condition at the end of each day to eliminate hazards for the general public.

- Minimum of 5 years of UAE experience in a similar role.
- NEBOSH and OSHAD certifications are mandatory.
- Proficient in enforcing safety regulations and managing worker compliance.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A valid UAE driving license is a significant advantage.

Salary:
AED 3,000 to 5,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
