Safety Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our dynamic steel manufacturing team in the UAE. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations, conducting inspections, and promoting safety awareness among employees.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures adhering to industry standards and local regulations.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate safety training sessions and workshops for employees to enhance awareness and compliance.
- Collaborate with management and staff to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities and prepare compliance reports as required.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role within the steel manufacturing or heavy industry.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA and local regulatory safety standards applicable in the UAE.
- Strong observational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Relevant safety certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are highly desirable.

Salary:
AED 2,500 to 5,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
