Charterhouse are working in exclusive partnership with an international shipping company which specialise in providing Husbanding, Logistics and Operational support to its maritime clients. Due to significant growth in the region our client is looking to hire a Sales & Admin Support Specialist to assist the commercial team with all of their administrative needs and sales tracking.

Our client is looking for a highly organised and dedicated individual who is willing to immerse themselves fully into the business, developing their knowledge about the companies’ service offerings and the industry. This is a fast-paced role where no two days will be the same therefore the successful candidate should have excellent multitasking skills and sharp attention to detail. Typical duties will be geared towards managing the filing system, preparing important contracts, quotations and port visit documentation, in addition to communicating requests for quotations with various agents in a timely manner. There will be a regular requirement to accompany the operations team to the local port to complete handover and exchange/signature of all the necessary documentation.

The Sales & Admin Support Specialist will act as coordinator between the business and its partners, having access to highly sensitive information. It is imperative that the successful candidate is extremely professional and discreet when handling confidential information on behalf of the business.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years administrative support experience, with a preference of working in the logistics industry. It is important that the successful candidate has strong knowledge of tools such as Microsoft office, excel, and Dropbox.
