Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with one of our clients within the Oil and Gas services sector. Our client is a listed entity and is currently recruiting for a Sales Associate to join its team based in Ajman, UAE.
The Sales Associate will maintain strong relationships with existing clients and also conduct business development to grow the customer base. You will be part of the sales department to ensure customer’s requirements are identified and received. You will complete all tenders in compliance with RFQ, clarifications and negotiations, as well as provide timely responses to incoming sales enquiries. You will also control paperwork such as quotations, shipping invoices packing lists etc. as well as chase unpaid invoices, be involved in any HSE or irregular job investigations and provide regular communication with those impacted.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a fluent English speaker who is educated to Degree or high school diploma level and has some experience in the marine, inspection and / or oil & gas industry, ideally with rigging and lifting. You should be able to understand the requirements involved in contracts, sales and tenders and be aware of sales methodologies and strategies. You should have strong written and verbal skills and be proficient in MS Office, email and able to display a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information. The candidate should be able to identify potential sales opportunities and experience in securing sales, tenders, contracts and conducting business development is also a requirement.
