Overview of the role

Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for commercial vehicles? We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Vehicles Sales Consultant for our HINO Trucks Division. In this role, you will actively seek out and engage customer prospects, providing complete and appropriate solutions to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

What you will do

  • Achieve sales targets: Exceed monthly and annual sales targets while maximizing profitability by focusing on both net sales and gross margin earnings. Utilize discounts as a tool to close deals.
  • Customer engagement: Contact prospective customers and assigned accounts within your designated territory. Conduct regular customer and field visits to assess business requirements and maintain healthy relationships to ensure top customer satisfaction levels.
  • Customer qualification: Understand customer requirements and interests, matching them to various models. Demonstrate trucks by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features, offering test drives, and explaining warranties and services.
  • Sales process management: Write sales orders, secure deposits, and process paperwork in accordance with established business policies. Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Training and reporting: Attend all sales meetings, modular training sessions, and refresher courses that introduce new products. Inform the Sales Manager or Branch Manager if additional training is required. Provide sales management information by completing reports.
  • Financial oversight: Ensure monthly overdues do not exceed the agreed target.

Required skills to be successful

  • Experience: 3+ years in a commercial vehicle sales role at a dealership, with mandatory experience in medium and heavy duty trucks sales in the UAE.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Technical skills: Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products.
  • Sales acumen: Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and goals. Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Customer service: Outstanding customer service experience and strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail: Keen attention to detail with a commitment to solving complex problems.
  • Personal attributes: Outgoing and service-oriented attitude, solid time management, and analytical skills. Goal-oriented self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure work environment.
  • Teamwork: Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Licensing: Valid UAE driving license.
