ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Sales Controller to join our Sales Team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be supporting the General Sales Manager with coordination of all showroom activities, in addition to being responsible for achieving their own sales target.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage and oversee all showroom activities.
- Ensure the showroom is well-maintained, organized, and visually appealing.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the showroom staff to maximize their performance.
- Assist in closing sales by engaging with customers during the sales process.
- Maintain an organized and attractive product display.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment.
- Analyze sales data and generate reports to improve sales strategies.
- Achieve sales goals in line with pre-set monthly targets and budgets.
- Meet or exceed departmental sales and profitability targets.
- Report to the General Sales Manager on objectives, planned activities, performance reviews, and analysis.
- Regularly review and update the Reservation Log with the General Sales Manager to provide accurate performance forecasts.
- Meet set closing ratio and showroom unit targets.
- Achieve income per retail unit (IPRU), profit, and KPI targets.
- Coach and train the sales team on the Adamas sales process, including the importance of Manager Introductions and Value-Added Products Features and Benefits.
- Ensure every customer follows the sales process to maximize profitability and support closing each sale.
- Assume the responsibilities and duties of the General Sales Manager during their absence.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Protect the business’s integrity and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in showroom management, preferably within the automotive, retail, property or hospitality sectors.
- Mandatory experience with Dealer Management System such as CDK.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with PC proficiency.
- Good leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing staff.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and resolve issues.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- High attention to detail and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Flexibility to assume the responsibilities of the General Sales Manager when required.
