Job description / Role
The spare parts Sales Coordinator position focus is to support the entire Spare Parts Team, regional customers and Global organization. The position is an extended sales position from the MAN Diesel & Turbo Headquarter in Copenhagen.
Tasks:
• Responsible for preparing Sales Quotations
• Ensures 80% of the daily incoming requests are responded uniformly and within the same business day or the day after
• Run check for estimated delivery time and replacement, obtain estimated shipping costs
• Ensures archiving of sales correspondence according to guidelines
• Follow ups on tenders (Contact Customer or Global Organization)
• Create orders; sends Order confirmations to customer or Global Organization
• Archiving of sales documents/correspondence
• Follow up on SAP Workflows with purchasing and materials management
• Improve delivery time with purchasing department and supply chain
• Enable smooth communication between parties in the sales process (Customers, Global organization, Shipping)
• Distributes e-mails from regional mailbox
• Ensures support to Customers and Global Organization in post-processing issues
• Maintains and update Master Customer List for the region and customer potential
• Run SAP transactions for tracking various changes to delivery schedules (inform Customer/Global organization if critical)
• Maintains and update all SAP lists
• Contact Customers on debtors issues
• Creates and send pro forma invoices
• Update SAP history and structure data accordingly
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the same field; UAE local experience is an added advantage
• Preferably a Degree holder in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent
• SAP knowledge an advantage but not a must
• Team player; Customer Service oriented
• Ability to take ownership and drive the task all the way to the end
• Strong communication skills and English language
• Must be organized and possess a high level of administration ability to effectively manage paperwork
• Good computer skills; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Resident of UAE
