Job description
Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Coordinator - MICE to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for driving MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) business and ensuring seamless coordination of events.
- Proactively identify and pursue new MICE business opportunities in the local and international markets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Create compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure successful execution of MICE events
- Conduct site inspections and showcase venue facilities to prospective clients
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
- Meet and exceed sales targets for MICE business
- Manage client inquiries and provide timely, professional responses
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns for MICE segments
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and generate regular sales reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in MICE sales or a related field
- Proven track record in meeting sales targets and growing client base
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Proficiency in CRM software and event management tools
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Negotiation skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of the MICE industry and current trends
- Understanding of the hospitality and tourism sector
- Experience in event coordination and client management
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Certifications in event management or hospitality (preferred)
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
