The Business Setup Consultant will guide international and local entrepreneurs through the end-to-end process of company registration, licensing, and residency. You will provide expert advice on the best legal structures (LLC, Free Zone, Sole Proprietorship), manage documentation with government authorities, and offer post-incorporation services like corporate banking and VAT registration.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory & Consultation
• Legal Structuring: Advising clients on the most tax-efficient and legally compliant business structures based on their industry.
• Jurisdiction Selection: Helping clients choose between Mainland, Free Zone, or Offshore jurisdictions based on their specific business needs.
• Feasibility Studies: Conducting initial market research to validate the client’s business model within the local market.

Licensing & Compliance
• Government Liaison: Acting as the primary point of contact with Department of Economic Development (DED), Chambers of Commerce, and Municipalities.
• Document Management: Overseeing the drafting and notarization of Memorandum of Association (MOA), Power of Attorney (POA), and Lease Agreements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all business activities align with local labor laws, AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations, and industry-specific permits.

Operational Support
• Corporate Banking: Assisting clients in opening corporate bank accounts by preparing the necessary "Know Your Customer" (KYC) documentation.
• Visa & PRO Services: Coordinating with the Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage investor visas, employee permits, and family residencies.
• Office Solutions: Sourcing physical or virtual office spaces that meet the legal requirements for license issuance.

Sales & Client Relationship Management
• Lead Conversion: Transforming inquiries from prospective entrepreneurs into active consultancy contracts.
• Portfolio Management: Maintaining long-term relationships for annual license renewals and business expansion services.

Requirements:

Skills & Requirements

• Expert Knowledge: Deep understanding of local company laws, commercial codes, and licensing procedures.
• Networking: Strong existing relationships with government officials or third-party service providers (banks, legal firms).
• Communication: Fluency in English (and often a second language like Arabic, Mandarin, or French) to bridge cultural gaps for foreign investors.
• Sales Acumen: Ability to meet targets by showcasing the value of professional setup services over DIY methods.
