Job description / Role
International manufacturing company is currently hiring a Logistics and customer service to join their team. For the right candidate there will be quick career progression.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for arrangement of import/export documentation and contractual compliance.
• Supports and executes a comprehensive logistics and distribution strategy to drive optimal customer service and profitability.
• Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
• Provides logistics expertise cross functionally within other team members’ network.
• Manages supplier/customer relationships.
• Ensures that all contractual requirements are timely documented and adhered to.
• Liaising with banks in respect of LC and collection documents for smooth payments.
• Interact with the supplier to ensure timely delivery and constantly follows up on the status of the orders. Liaising with government departments for legalization of export documents as per customers’ requirements. Monitoring stock movements including all the non-moving & expiry items in warehouses.
• High level of motivation, enthusiasm and resolution skills.
• Confident to have a go and accepts task ownership.
• Adaptable to shifting priorities and business conditions and times of change.
• Maintains focus on immediate and longer term requirements.
Salary:
AED
5,000 to 7,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
