Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a specialist payments provider and program management company in the provision of events payment systems, prepaid card programs and other payment platforms.

They are currently looking for a Sales & Customer Specialist to promote payment systems to their high profile partners in the event industry.

Key responsibilities for this role are:
- To achieve sales objectives
- Build up a sales strategy for local accounts and sales channels
- Generate new prospects and develop an accurate pipeline of opportunities
- Build up relationships to become a trusted adviser constantly developing his/her knowledge of the clients and their businesses
- Understand the clients business context, targets and strategy
- Provide clients with advice that matches their business needs and create new business habits
- Provide and execute against detailed Account Plans showing how you are going to progress the account for the next 3 -5 years
- Present and refine offers to clients, negotiate contracts and follow up with implementation and support teams to ensure clients receive the best in class service

Requirements

- 4 to 10 years’ experience in customer facing role, with at least 2 in the events industry
- High-energy with a proven track record of top performance and excellence
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Good written and spoken English
- Spoken Cantonese and Mandarin a plus
- Strong influencing & negotiation skills
- Thirst for challenges and drive to succeed and achieve goals
- Capable of relationship development and opportunity identification
- Strong telephone and web-based demonstration skills required
- Capable of handling high volume of outbound cold/warm calls
