Job description / Role
This spare parts Sales Engineer position is to support regional customers and Global organization. The position is an extended sales position from the MAN Diesel & Turbo Headquarter in Copenhagen.
You will combine technical knowledge with sales skills to handle orders of spare parts as we have many exciting projects. The job requires therefore that you can work independently while you have a strong ability to work with people from many different cultures.
Tasks:
• Creates and sends order confirmation
• Supports Team Leader with overdue invoices
• Prepares Monthly Status report of top customers performance and market potential
• Technical support to Global organization
• Provides input to Budget and Forecast on request
• Provides support to Sales Coordinator in processing /distribution of e-mails from main inbox.
• Ensures company compliance rules are followed
• Customer visits as needed
• Tender and order management of spare parts
• Collaborate with colleagues and internal departments
• Correspondence with clients
• Interacts with internal departments and HQ marketing department to align local work with our organization abroad
Requirements
• Graduate of a Mechanical / Marine Engineering or similar background
• Experience in communicating technical and commercial verbal as well as in writing
• Team player, service oriented and sales minded technician
• Commercial comprehension
• Proficiency in English, both in writing and in speech (Arabic language added advantage)
• Can work independently and collaborate with other colleagues across professional boundaries
• Targeting with an understanding of service and customer focus
• Ability to take ownership and drive the task all the way to the end
