Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an established engineering company who is looking to hire a Sales Engineer to join its Dubai-based office. Our client is a leading manufacturer of positive displacement pumps and fluid handling equipment.
Reporting to the Middle East Sales Manager, you will be responsible for business development and sales of the client's product range and services for the food and industry markets; this includes dairy, beverage, convenience food, personal care, environment, chemicals, mechanical and mining. You will be responsible for achieving budgeted order booking and targets for the sales in the Middle East region. You will execute marketing and sales strategies, develop business opportunities and projects to maximise sales. The role will involve developing and maintaining a strong customer base and relationships to ensure effective communication and support throughout the entire business cycle while providing forecasts and efficient reporting.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess a Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or an MBA. You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial manufacturing company and at least 2 years' in sales of industrial goods, components and services, with the understanding of contractual common terms and conditions. You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the Middle East and be a fluent English and Arabic speaker. We are looking for a results driven candidate with a passion for sales and willingness to travel.
