Employment: Full Time

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The company is one of the leading Mining & Steel company in supply of steel and allied products to infrastructure, construction, and energy sectors in the Middle East.

Position Title: Sales Engineer
Function: Techno-Commercial (Sales)
Travel required: Mainly within UAE and GCC for customer visits (50%).
Preferred Start Date: Immediate

This role entails to:
• Generate sales leads and enquiries,
• Review and understand the project requirement,
• Prepare costing, generate commercial offers/budgetary offers.

He/she should be able to handle the technical and commercial discussions, negotiate the Contractual terms & Conditions, regular follow-up, negotiate & secure the orders. Who is capable of managing the entire tender process. Identify and develop strong relationships with the business partners. And provide insight of market development and trend, price evaluation, competition analysis / current & future target projects and forecast on volume/revenue /Gross margin to support the annual budget making process and to set the strategic growth plans.

Requirements

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

Must be adept in one or all the following:
• Anti-corrosion coatings (liquid &/or powder) on Steel Pipes & Fittings.
• FBE / 3LPE / 3LPP on the line-pipe.
• FBE Coating (External & Internal) on Pipe Spools.
• FBE Coating (External & Internal) on Pipe Fittings (Bends, Elbows & Tees).
• CS Welded Pipes.

• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in techno-commercial experience in the Oil & Gas and/or water industry in Middle East / GCC (Steel or similar industrial experience can be an advantage)
• Bachelor/master’s degree (specialization in Core Engineering subjects Mech/Chem/Civil Etc. will be an added advantage).
• Computer-literate (MS Office, high level of MS Excel skills, MS Power point etc.)
• Excellent communications, negotiation, and presentation skills (Arabic skills can be an advantage)
• Well organized with high level of punctuality & discipline at the work.
