Sales Engineer

Job description / Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced sales engineer to join their team, which specializes in cutting and welding equipment solutions. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in industrial machinery, with a proven track record in sales and business development. The role will revolve around collaborating with engineering teams to tailor solutions, delivering product presentations, and driving revenue growth within the manufacturing and metalworking sectors.

Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the manufacturing and metalworking sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their technical needs.
- Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including product demonstrations and presentations.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to tailor solutions to customer specifications.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals & quotes and negotiate contracts to close deals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the business.

- 5 to 10 years of experience as a Sales Engineer preferably within a similar industry.
- Should have working knowledge in the sale of products such as CNC Plate Processing Machines, SAW and Drilling Machine, Laser Cutting Machine, Plasma Machines, and other Industrial machines.
- Mechanical / Industrial Engineering background preferred.
- The candidate should possess a UAE Driving license.
- Open to any nationality.

Salary:
AED 8,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
