Job description / Role
An experienced and dynamic Sales Engineer, for a leading provider of innovative water treatment solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in water treatment systems, combined with excellent sales skills to develop and expand customer base. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer-facing interactions to provide tailored solutions to clients.
Responsibilities:
• Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
• Visit and meet with clients at appointments for sales to achieve the planned target.
• Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Establishes new customer’ accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call/visit schedule.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
• Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
• Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information, engineering.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
• Preparing and maintaining all reports as per the company policy “Visits, Leads, Orders & Sales”.
• Reporting to the Manager In-charge & Sales Manager
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales in the water treatment industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes and technologies, such as filtration, reverse osmosis, chemical dosing, and water reclamation.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing business in a competitive market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); CRM software knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and trade shows as required.
Salary:
AED
6,000 to 10,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
