Sales Engineer

Job description / Role

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of HVAC products, including VRF systems, chillers, and related components.

Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers, consultants, and contractors on the selection, application, and integration of HVAC systems.

Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, ensuring they meet client specifications and project requirements.

Conduct technical discussions and resolve client inquiries related to product performance, design, and system compatibility.

Coordinate with factories to get the right product mix at the right time.

Requirements

Proven technical consulting experience in HVAC commercial products, with in-depth knowledge of VRF systems and chillers in the region.

Collaborate with the sales team to prepare competitive pricing, benchmarking, quotations, and tender submissions.

Assist in designing HVAC systems in coordination with internal technical and design teams to meet project requirements.

Ensure timely submission of proposals, documentation, and follow-ups to secure projects and meet deadlines.

Track and monitor project execution to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Foster long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.

Provide after-sales support, including troubleshooting, resolving customer complaints, and assisting with system commissioning.

Gather customer feedback to improve the quality of products and services offered and coordinate with factories for product development for local market.

Prepare and submit periodic sales and activity reports, including market trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, and technical support, to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Support the Sales Manager in achieving overall regional sales targets and objectives.

Knowledge of local industry standards and best practices.

Driver's license: A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
