Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:
Responsible to sell products using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products to their needs, resulting in revenue generation and achieving the Set Target.

Principal Accountabilities:
External:
- Must handle own sales calls, demos, scrubs with surgeons and technically supporting the surgeon while using our product during a surgery
- Tenders/ quotations/follow-ups with purchasing In charge, end users/ surgeons/ Biomedical engineers and nurses
- Participating in the conference and demonstrate our product line in the marketing events
- In-services training to the Doctors /Nursing staff/ Biomedical Engineers
- Meet customer needs as and when required by the customer even during weekends
- Monitoring Competitive activity
- Maintaining and updating the customer data base
- Coordinate with Service department for customer site equipment break downs
- Coordinating Consignment stock with Customers

Internal:
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines
- Preparing yearly Budget and Marketing expenses in coordination with the line manager
- Forecast Monthly and Quarterly figures in relation to yearly Budget
- Make sure store is invoicing in the right way
- Follow up on quotations with the OSD
- Follow-up with store on deliveries
- Monitor the inventory and make sure that inventory level is maintained
- Coordinate with OSD to make orders to principal companies
- Send weekly reports to the Line Manager on time

Communication with principal companies:
- Seeking technical support.
- Sending market analysis and feedback about competition.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree + Business Administration

Experience:
- 2-3 Years’ Experience

About the Company

Abul Qasim Khalaf Al Zahrawi (936-1013 A.D) known in the west as Abulcasis was born in Zahra in the neighborhood of Cordova (Arabic Qurtuba). He became one of the most renowned surgeons of his era and the Middle Ages. He is best known for his early and original breakthroughs in surgery as well as for his famous Medical Encyclopedia called Al-Tasrif, which is composed of thirty volumes covering different aspects of medical science.

The more important part of this series comprises three books on surgery, which describe in detail various aspects of surgical treatment as based on the operations performed by him, including cauterization, removal of stone from the bladder, dissection of animals, midwifery, styptics, and surgery of eye, ear and throat. He perfected several delicate operations, including removal of the dead fetus and amputation. Al Zahrawi is considered as Father of Modern Surgery.
