Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Be the key point of contact internally for all sales related queries.
- Manage release dates if they impact holdbacks.
- Input and manage data in the MBC Studios avails system ensuring all information is up to date and correct.
- Be the key point of contact externally for all client related queries i.e., delivery timelines and clearances.
- Source and handle any metadata and materials required for sales deals and the MBC Studios website.
- Support in servicing publicity materials to international clients, ensuring they meet the requested specifications.
- Track regional and international TX dates.
- Organise screening links for the sales team and clients.
- Work with finance and procurement to manage creatives services invoices and requisitions
- Work with sales consultants to update the sales trackers and circulate on a weekly basis.
- Work with legal to coordinate upcoming deals from contract stage to deliveries. This includes uploading contracts onto CMS, managing approvals and creating second parties.
- Work with the post-production manager to ensure they have all the relevant information about upcoming deals.
- Manage subtitling and translations for library titles when required.
- Work with finance to ensure sales commissions are paid on time.
- Responsible for organising and circulating distribution documents including sales reports and forecasts.
- Set up distribution meetings for internal and external when required.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

- Ideally 3 years' experience in broadcast distribution.
- Good knowledge of distribution processes in broadcast media.
- Organisation skills: ability to manage storage and delivery of assets, files, and information in an organised and efficient manner.
- Possess strong computer skills.
- Customer orientation: be able to assert clients' needs and problems, and to identify appropriate solutions.
- Effective communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Can work under pressure & meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork & interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential
