Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

General Mission:
• To promote and market the hotel in particular and more generally the hotels which belong to the chain in the area. To achieve sales in the best possible conditions for the hotel and the company.

Responsibilities and Means:
• To manage the hotel position in the whole sale market, to develop the business following to marketing plan, to coordinate efforts with the sales executive to cover all segment such us Corporate, Leisure, weekenders, conferences & seminars, etc...

Administrative responsibilities:
• To organize and coordinate sales & marketing office works
• Responsible for hotel business forecast
• Responsible for hotel sales statistics and report to company and area
• Responsible for opening new guests accounts and debs follow up

Technical Responsibilities:
• Familiar with the hotel and restaurants operations
• Familiar with the hotel’s computer / data processing system
• Familiar with the Chain’s sales & marketing datas report processing
• Ensures availability before sales in coordination with reservations

Commercial Responsibilities:
• To develop a strong product knowledge and image in the local market
• Defines guest’s requirements and ensure services correspond to what is offered
• To participate to Hotel’s budget plan
• Closely observes and monitors completion in the local market
• Represents the hotel in relevant industry exhibitions and travel achievement

Human Responsibilities:
• Motivate and dynamism sales executive activities
• Identify and develop skills and qualities of subordinates
• Programs training when required to improve team performance and achievements

Relations:
• Coordinate and maintain constant links with Rooms division, reservations and F&B Department
• Maintain very close professional relationship with people from tourism industry
• Maintain permanent contacts with corporate accounts
• Entertains people from the trade to develop awareness and image
• Handle guests complains as and when required
• Maintain good contacts with all Hotel’s departments

Requirements

• The candidate should have minimum relevant experience in Hotel of 2 years
• The candidate should have driving license (UAE) and willing to join immediately
• Familiar with the hotel and restaurants operations
