Hotel Overview:

Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair Hotel is a 620-room-and-suite upper upscale property. Catering for both business and leisure clientele. The hotel is located in Deira in the heart of Dubai and within easy reach of major tourist landmarks, leisure destinations and city services. It is linked to the Al Ghurair Shopping Centre, only 3 stops away on the Dubai Metro from the Dubai World Trade Centre and a 10 minute drive from Dubai International Airport.

Sales Executive

As a Sales Executive, you will provide professional and friendly service to all patrons. Responsible to maximize sales and achieve pre-determined targets, working closely with Rooms, Food and Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments

What you will be doing:

- To effectively manage own account portfolio. To take part in all sales-related activities, and to effectively sell all aspects of the hotel.
- Conduct sales calls in Abu Dhabi and all other emirates
- Conduct business trips in GCC countries
- Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings
- Develop new and maintain existing business accounts through the preparation and execution go action plans.
- Develop and maintain contact with local business generators, meeting and convention planners, Visitors/Convention Bureau, Corporate and Government accounts and other procedures closely.
- Executes sales strategy to achieve goals
- Conduct in house show around & entertain the potential accounts.
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication
- Shift market share from the competition with specific focus on group segment
- Deal effectively with guests and workplace colleagues from a variety of cultures
- To perform any other duties as required by the Management
- Assist with any other sales and events support projects & duties as requested.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Arabic speaker
- 3 years experience in the United Arab Emirates with the Government Segment
- Holder of bachelor degrees of equivalent
- UAE driving license is mandatory
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Motivated & results oriented team player
