Overview of the role:

As a Sales Executive for Volvo Trucks at FAMCO UAE, you will be responsible for boosting sales in government, fleet, and private sectors. Your role will involve promoting Volvo Trucks in the UAE, building strong connections with key players, creating compelling proposals, and ensuring smooth collaboration between stakeholders. Your efforts will be essential in expanding Volvo Trucks' market presence and promoting total solutions, including finance, insurance, Volvo Connect, and Service Contracts.

What you will do:

  • Achieve monthly unit sales targets for Volvo Trucks.
  • Work with the head of sales and product manager to set monthly and quarterly objectives by model.
  • Develop a robust forecasting strategy for accurate weekly sales and gross margin forecasts.
  • Measure, monitor, and compare sales progression during each month and take appropriate actions to ensure the sales plan is achieved.

Required skills to be successful:

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong financial awareness and business acumen.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage).
  • Customer-centric approach, effective communication, continuous self-improvement, and result-oriented mindset.

About the team:

You will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to promoting Volvo Trucks in the UAE. The team works closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and successful sales outcomes. The team values strong interpersonal skills, facilitation, and presentation abilities, and aims to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels.

What equips you for the role:

  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically in Heavy Commercial Vehicles.
  • UAE experience is an added advantage.
