Job description / Role
We are looking for a Sales Interior Designer who is passionate about creating a great interior design and provides exceptional customer service. The most important is being able to help your customers create beautiful spaces with our furniture selection and to help for expanding the operation.
Key Responsibilities.
- Offers superior customer service and cultivates relationships with clients to sell & develop future business utilizing effective selling skills.
- Develops design concepts and produces contract documents based on client needs.
- Provides sales and design services to clientele, including house calls, presenting floor plans and full presentation boards for design projects
- Responsible for achieving monthly house calls, sales goals, delivery goals and creating and maintaining a client base
- Builds and maintains a high level of product knowledge related to furniture, home furnishings, and related accessories, including a strong understanding of construction features
- Stays current on interior design trends in their local market and on a national level
- Establishing market penetration in Commercial Interiors in the UAE, Doha & Jeddah and wider GCC (as appropriate) , generating opportunities through contacts, networking and associations
- Identifying and winning major fit-out projects, developing intimate knowledge of key accounts and responding quickly and effectively to tender
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experienced of similar roles for fit-out interior project sales, fabric and furniture experience, preferably in the turnkey and interior works sector, residential, commercial real estate, hotel and construction.
- Proven record of accomplishment within the interiors industry and experienced in dealing with clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior design or related field
- Experience managing a department of 4 or more design staff including budget estimates and project schedules
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop,3D Max , Technical Layout and Planning
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills, attention to detail, enthusiastic and team player
- Familiarity with all phases of projects, potential issues, and proven history to produce projects
- Creative eye for detail in preparation of design presentation materials
