Job description / Role
A retail company based in Dubai is looking for a Sales Lady to manage one of their souvenir shops. You will be required to meet sales goals by doing activities to interest customers and entice them to buy the company’s products.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Work with customers with a cheerful and pleasant disposition
• Lead customers to desired shelves/aisles and assist them in locating products
• Explain product features and benefits by performing demonstrations and answer any questions that customers may have.
• Assist customers in making decisions regarding suitable purchases based on their specific likes
• Provide information in regards to prices, current deals and special offers
• Be creative in suggesting additional products to meet sales quota
• Help process payments made by the customer
• Bag or gift wrap purchased products and follow any specific instructions from customer
• Report daily sales and transaction details to management
• Oversee the cleanliness and replenishment of shelves according to sales report
Requirements
To be considered for the role, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years as a Sales Lady/Customer Service or sales environment
• Experience in Mid to High tier shops is an advantage
• Good communication skills in English
• A willingness to work shifts/weekends/Public holidays and must be physically fit to stand for long periods of time
