Sales Manager - Steel Pipes - Middle East

We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager to lead the sales of line-pipe & processing pipe in the Middle East. This great opportunity is working for a very reputable multinational company that specialises in the production and provision of steel products to the energy industry This position will be based in Dubai and require around 25% travel in the Middle East region.

Duties

- Deploy the product line sales strategy in the region.
- Ensure sales and account management targets are met i.e revenue, bookings, receivables, customer satisfaction, hit ratio, Premium ratio, quality of sales forecasts etc
- Manage tenders and/or implement Frame Agreement with EPC, operators and partner distributors in the Middle East (UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq and Saudi)
- Be accountable for the good execution of the order
- Manage prospection and business development with key customers
- Enhance customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
- Support mill approvals with operators of the region in the assigned countries

Main Activities

- Understand the markets (clients, competition, market price, Macro and Microeconomics)
- Propose and deploy sales tactics and associated sales actions
- Manage agents in the respective countries
- Manage stakeholder relationships

Requirements

Experience

- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales of Process Piping and/or Line Pipe
- Experience working in multi-cultural environment
- Experienced in Contractors’ management, negotiations, financial & logistics skills i.e. KAM
- Knowledge of EPC Project management Value Proposition
- Strong communication skills - friendly and professional

Educational Background

- Bachelor Degree as a minimum
- Master Degree - a bonus

Language Skills

- Fluent English & Arabic - essential
