Job description / Role
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Principal duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following, which indicates the general nature of work expected:
• Implements all sales action plans related to his/her marketing area as outlined in the Business Plan.
• Establishes and maintains files (S&C Fidelio) on major active accounts and prospects accounts within his market area.
• Maintains high profile within the local market, mainly Local Operators and Travel
• Agents and Local Corporate Accounts.
• Establishes and maintain files on major active accounts within his marketing areas.
• Promotes & produces sales leads for other IHG Hotels.
• Provides feedback to the Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing on changing market conditions, trends on the competitions.
• Arrange site inspections and entertainment related to his/her market.
• Disseminates sales related information to other departments as appropriate.
• Maintains high level of exposure in the hotel through direct sales solicitations, telephone contacts and written communications.
• Establishes and maintains effective employee relations
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
