In Sales , you'll put our customers at the heart of our business. By building strong relationships with every customer, big or small, you'll help Mondelez International become the supplier of choice and ensure we deliver world-class execution of our business plans in every store.

Position Purpose

- To Lead the three distributors in the market.
- Direct operations in the UAE market under cost plus arrangement (NTDE) and manages the other two distributors through a pure distributor model based on a gross margins set up
- Manage the Sales Team in order to deliver winning Category and Channel Execution strategies in UAE and deliver upon our growth agenda.
- Ensure effective coverage of all channels as per our category expectations & deliver upon business KPI's.
- Build strategic partnerships with our strategic distributor & Key Retail Partners in UAE.
- Implement B-I-C Retail Execution Solutions at the POB - Aisle Reinvention, Hot-Zones, etc.
- Develop a highly-skilled and engaged Sales Team.
- Play an active role in the Category Leadership Team for the GCC business.
- Manage distributor / divisional PnL whilst optimise T&N funds & ensure aligned spending as per AC.

Main Responsibilities

Determine & implement the Gulf Sales Strategy

- Understand the business objectives for our categories & bands
- Determine Distribution, Assortment & Visibility objectives by Market & Channel
- Determine the most appropriate Structure to meet the business demands

Build Successful Sales Plans

- Understand the business objectives for our categories & bands
- Prepare detailed annual Business Plans with clear Sales objectives
- Identify growth strategies that meet Brand Challenges & Retailer/Shopper needs
- Finalise Sales Plans by Channel & Geography.

Drive Best-In-Class Execution

- Deliver KPI- focused execution levels that enable Mondelez to win at the POB
- Drive Retail presence in terms of AR, Hot-Zones, Prime-Zones etc.
- Deliver consistent Distribution &Visibility metrics across the business.

Win with our Customers

- Establish effective Business partnerships with the right Distributors in UAE
- Grow Partnerships with Strategic Customers through JBP
- Distort resource to support Strategic Customer growth

Develop the Gulf Sales Team

- Ensure optimal structure to meet business challenges
- Ensure that all Team members have clear development plans
- Attract, retain & develop Top Talent
- Build a Coaching Culture within the Team.


- Work closely with all other functions to ensure alignment on the Gulf growth agenda.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration through active participation on Projects and in CLT's.
- Proactively support the GCC Sales Leadership Team.
- Ensure that Team live a collaborative culture.

Relevant Reporting to Leadership Team.

- Provide detailed Plans & Activity grids for review by the wider business.
- Provide in-market/category data & insights.



Knowledge, Skills & Experience

- Minimum Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant Sales experience in a MNC / reputed local organisation in GCC.
- Clear track record of people management and result-achievement.
- Experience in both Modern & Traditional Trade.
- Full management of P&L
