Job description / Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the Cheese and Dairy Product Manufacturing and Trading sector. Based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, this role is essential in driving sales growth, developing key customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management within the food and beverage industry, particularly in cheese and dairy, and will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets while fostering a high-performing sales culture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share in the Cheese and Dairy sector.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within the industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Attend industry trade shows and events to represent the company and network with potential clients.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, in the food and beverage or dairy industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with sales analytics tools is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Strong negotiation skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
