The Sales Manager will lead commercial growth for the JAFZA business unit, driving new customer acquisition, key account expansion, and revenue performance across Air, Sea, Road, Customs and Warehousing services. This role requires deep knowledge of JAFZA regulations, Free Zone processes, GCC cross?border operations, and the ability to mentor and manage a team of 8–10 sales executives. The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales budgets, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring seamless coordination with operations and pricing teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within JAFZA, DWC, Dubai Industrial City, and wider UAE/GCC markets.
• Lead RFQ/RFP submissions, pricing proposals, and commercial negotiations.
• Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline with reliable forecasting.
2. Team Leadership & Mentoring
• Manage, coach, and motivate a team of 8–10 sales executives to achieve individual and team budgets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, field visits, and structured coaching sessions.
• Provide product, pricing, and negotiation training to enhance team capability.
• Foster a high?performance, customer?centric sales culture.
3. Customer Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic customers.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and ensure high service satisfaction.
• Resolve customer issues in coordination with operations, customer service, and finance.
• Ensure customer retention and identify opportunities for upselling and cross?selling.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of sales experience in logistics/freight forwarding, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of JAFZA operations, Free Zone processes, customs, and GCC cross?border logistics.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high?value accounts.
• Experience leading and mentoring a sales team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Valid UAE driving license.
